System issue after downT-1's

Last week our provider lost several t-1's after they came back up the phones did not work. They seemed to lose connection. I am a newbie and had no idea. I was told this was very easy fix. What would you do to make them reconnect? and where can i learn?

What kind of phone system is this? What type of sets (VOIP or TDM)? I don't know how T1's can stop sets from working. Please provide some more details.

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

The only way I can think that the phones will lose connection because of down T-1 is a Mini-Carrier remote connect via PSTN TIE lines. But that is TDM so depends on what type of phones.

Did you check your Clock Controller. Could have been affected and may need to be reset.

may need to tell the system to track on the primary clock reference, might be in free run
