System IP Configuration

Just been trained so still new.Please assist.No name calling.

I have an Mx ICP working with IP of 10.184.19.131; inet host 10.184.19.144; Gateway 10.184.19.254; subnet 255.255.255.128

Have been asked to change the ICP IP to 10.184.19.2 & Gateway to 10.184.19.126

1.when I do the changes I fail to use my browser on the ICP.
used the vlan_off but still cant connect via the Lan port.The boot string still shows me inet host of 10.184.19.144.What could be wrong?

2.the ICP DHCP server was disabled (were using an external server)so I have been asked to enable it so that it gives the ip phones addresses & have put a range of 10.184.19.3-125.Have 20 ip phones.The ICP wont give them the addresses.What could I be missing?

When you change the IP address from either the Console or the web, the system requires a reboot.

With regards to the DHCP, when enables it will only become active once you have done a DBMS save in Maintenance command line.
