System hangs if i change the print properties

Hi,

i am facing a problem on my windows 98 system while printing thru any application.
If i change the print properties from any application like Lotus notes or Word , Excel the system hangs.
And i have to restart the PC .
Can anybody help me ......

Forgive my assumptions about your system - you should post a little more to get better responses.

First, try to get the latest driver for your printer from the makers web-site.

Second buy some more memory for your system.

I would expect the driver to correct the problem - if it doesn't and you have plenty memory, then I would try to get an earlier version of the printer driver.
