Hi,

I Have a AIX 4.3 and have this problem:

In prompt login, the users receive this message:
"System maintenance is about to begin."
"Try again later"

** The /usr/bin files have changed permission to 777 and the system is rebooted.

** Sorry the English!!!

Someone help me.

Thank's

Paulo

The first message is because the file /etc/nologin exists.

The /usr/bin files permissions sound like someone did something they shouldn't.

The /etc/nologin file is created when the system reboots so someone must have issued a shutdown command.

Cheers
