Hi all,

When I was doing firmware upgrade of a M3902 digital set (after that the screen of the set was displaying abnormal characters)in a site that has Option 11C, the system restarted suddenly and all the sets stopped working. After many manual restarts, the sets were still not working. Thus, I plugged out the PBX power then re-plugged it in and restarted the system. All the sets fuctionned normally. Looking at the history file, the following error appeared after the firware upgrade: SDL2110 REASON 3 , 3902(7 0 0 2 ), VERSION 84 , MAINT MODE. Note that the 3902 set was installed and its unit was programmed correctly.

Any Idea!!!!!!

Thanks in advance.

The firmware upgrade to the set failed due to a checksum error. What release of software on the system?

That's no cause for an entire system to shut down. However multiple restarts of your system (including the power cycle) certainly didn't help the issue.

This should be in the Meridian forum, not the CallPilot forum.
