Would someone be able to briefly describe the function of this feature and how to physically patch into the PBX, so that in case of power failure, we'll still be able to call out and in with an analog line?

Thanks in advance

What type of system and hardware are you talking about?

just a few examples:

Sx200 ICP CX on Embedded Main Board
SX200 ICP MX on ASU-II
SX200 ICP AX

SX200 Elx Per-node ONS

SX200 analog 217

First 1, the SX 200 CX.

Someone mentioned that I could use the ONS ports for failover in case we lost power by plugging in an analog.

Is this something taht automatically occurs, and as long as I have an analog patched into the specificed ONS port, it will be good to go?

Thanks

On the SX200 ICP CX the first 2 ONS ports on the embedded module automatically connect to the first 2 LS trunks connected to the embedded module.

This will only occur when the power fails, other failure types will not release the relays.
