System Error &H80004002(-2147467262). No such interface supported

I receive this error trying to load a project in Visual Basic that has a mscomm control and treeview control. I also can't access the Components Module under Project with out recieving the same message.

The machine is running Windows NT 4.0 with Service Pack 4

I'm not sure if this is a NT issue or a VB issue.

I also receive an error when viewing certain web pages because it may have a active-x control on it.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it a project that you created? and does it let you load the project?

I think it may be that there is a control that the project needs but isn't located on your system...

Just a thought....

BTW, you should have posted this into the VB forum...
fenris
fenris@hotmail.com

I did create the project and the project loads with errors

"Class MSCommLib.MSComm of MSComm1 was not a loaded control class"

I posted first on the VB forum. But the project loads fine on a 95/98 machine I figured there was a possibility that it could related to NT
