I created a System DSN pointing to my Access 2000 database to be used with my CR 8.5 reports. When I create my VB6 distribution package, do I need to include this within the package somehow so the destination machines will have access to it?

Yes, they will have the database on their PC.

If the reports are expecting the ODBC source for their data, then yes, you need to include it in your package, or set it up manually on each machine.
