We have Crystal XI and Crystal 85 installed in isolation environment on three citrix servers. We have a few different data sources, but the primary one used is Envoy. If I open one of the reports that use the Envoy ODBC on two of the servers it is fine. The third server opens the report, however, when I hit refresh it pops up a screen titled ODBC(RDO)Data Source Selection and has a list of DSNs, however, Envoy is not listed. I have gone into ODBC connections on that server and Envoy is listed as one of the System DSNs. If I run an Envoy report in Crystal 85 on this same server, it recognizes the Envoy System DSN and refreshes with no problem. I have checked the ODBC on all three servers and they are set the same. If I refresh on one of the two that works I get an ODBC(RDO) Connection Information Screen that requires the server name, user id, password and database.
Any ideas as to what I may be missing

Is there a specific odbc connection set up, I may have not understood that from your post.

Thanks so much!

Sorry - it is a bit confusing.
Yes, if I go to ODBCAD32, all three servers show the Envoy SQL ODBC (we have several other programs that also use SQL or Sybase connections that are also in that list).
ODBCAD32 has
Abra
Envoy
FS
Unitime, etc....

When I refresh a report two of the servers request the Envoy login username and password and then run the report. The third sever opens up the an ODBC(RDO) screen and all of the ODBCs for the other programs are listed there, however, the Envoy one is not.
ODBC(RDO)has
Abra
FS
Unitime, etc....

I have seen something like this with Crystal reports 10 running on a CITRIX server.

It is caused by applications not configuring correctly.

Try running Crystal Reports on the console logged in as an administrator while the server is in install mode (change user/install), and see if your OBDC is accessible via CR - ie. selected it and connect to a tables.

Next, put the server in execute mode (change user/execute), connect via remote desktop, run Crystal Reports, and see if the OBDC is still appearing in your Data Sources.

If not, try looking at this old KB article on BOBJ support.
