System Drops Calls

I have a Partner II system with VS Mail R5 voicemail. While on a call today, the phone lights blinked off then on and off and on and dropped the call. This happened before but I was never looking at the phone so I figured the person just hung up. Any idea what could be the cause. We had no power outage as all our other office equipment ran fine.

just one phone or is it happenning system wide , you have to break it down , phone , wireing ,slot , processor , any can be doing it

It seems to have been a single bum phone.
