Is there a reserved word in Teradata for system date? Similair to MSSQL sysdate?

thanks

ANSI SQL requires support for

CURRENT_DATE
CURRENT_TIME
CURRENT_TIMESTAMP

And teradata is ANSI compilant in this area. If you uses these terms in your SQL your queries will work on any ANSI compliant system without any change.

Teradata SQL also allows

DATE
TIME

I am not sure about TIMESTAMP. These are Teradata Specific and may not work on other platforms.

THANKS!

New to teradata! Didn't realize I could rely on the ole ansi standards! Whew. All is not to new.
