After using an Aplication in Director that loops a Quicktime for hours, suddenly it makes the system crush. I don`t know whether is director or Quicktime, but the whole system crash.

Looping digital video in Director can freeze the system, but with some tweaks it is possible to run it for hours or even for days. I managed to run a sequence of a dozen or more QuickTime movies looped for 4 days non-stop. Use “unLoad” command at the end of each video. This will prevent from memory usage accumulates. Optimise the video: reduce the bit-rate to minimum. This will reduce the hard-drive access and CPU usage. A good tool for this is Discreet Cleaner.
