SYSTEM CALL FAILED ERROR MESSAGE

I am new to NetBackup and I was wondering if someone could explain to me what the following error in the backup log means:

09:54:12 INF - Status = system call failed.

I already had this error message, either it was a network communcation error (due to network overload), either it happened when Netbackup was trying to backup open files (disk backup devices or other kind of files).

Try to check when it stops and to exclude any open files from backup.

Thanks, sdeb. I'll take a closer look at the log and see if I can figure out what is causing this error. I saw a hit in a the logs on a few servers from this weekend's backup, so something must be up.
