Well, not really blows it up, but here's what happened. Went out on a call and the system wouldn't boot. Three post beeps, one long, two short. Looked it up, points to video card. Replaced the video card and drivers, and all is well. User calls me the next day and says it worked fine all day, then she shut it down, turned it on the next morning and bam, the same thing - no boot, one long, two short beeps. Could the system be burning up the card? Could a faulty mobo do this? I'm afraid to put another card in it. What if I try a PCI card instead of AGP?

Maybe try reseating the card, which resets its status in CMOS?

If that works, then you can bet the problem will happen again. In which case I would replace the motherboard or at least try a PCI card as a test.

Reseated the card and it seems to be working OK. Booted up multiple times now with no problem. Thanks.
