Hallo,
i´m runnig ARCserve 9 on a Memberserver. The document shows the description for Domain Controllers. But if ARCserve is running on a Memberserver (without AD and FSMO) did the System Account need to be DomainAdmin ?

Group Rights - Administrators
Backup Operator
Domain Admin ??????????????

The Backupserver (Member), backs´up
- himself
- some DC with Agent (Password-Security, not Systemsec.)
- some other Memberservers
... all Servers in the same Site.
Thank you, FISI :)

The Domain Admin group is required to backup remote system
state if it is backing up itself local admin will be sufficient.

HI,

change back to system security and provide a user which has local admin rights on the remote machine.
It should work then fine.

Regards
