System Access Buttons... 2

Hey guys and gals,

I ran into a little problem that I am having trouble figuring out. I have a feeling that this will be an easy one for most of you, so here it goes:

I am running a Merlin Magix system, and the phone in question is a 4412d+. Most of the phones in the system have 3 system access buttons programmed, SA OO, SA Voice and SA Ring. On most of the phones it defaults to SA Ring when you hang up the extention, but on the problem phone, it defaults to SA Voice when you have up. I've been messing with this off and on for a couple of days, and I can't seem to figure out where that distinction is made. Any suggestions?

At phone in question.
1) hit speaker # 00
2) touch one of your access buttons
3) dial *14
4) touch the lines in the order you want them accessed
5) hit enter
6) hang up

or dial **14 to end the line selection sequence if you don't have a display phone.

Hmmm, That worked exactly as you guys described. I really appreciate the help, especially since I would have probably read and played around with it for a long, long time before I figured that out.

You know, it's a funny thing...

I even helped write some of the Documentation, but still, there are things that can be stated in an easier to understand format, just as 1043 presented with this solution.

As another example...

You can READ AND READ and NEVER come up with the EASIEST WAY TO ADD A MAIL BOX to a Messaging System (2.5 and later).

It is there, in the MERLIN MAGIX feature reference, (NOT IN THE MESSAGING GUIDE) but you will NEVER find it.

(Change an extensions lable, then do "Config Mer Mesg" > update with labels....) - - THAT SIMPLE ! !

I am slowly but surely putting together a guide of "Merlin Legend/Magix Hints and Tricks", but I think the things posted here could work as well. (or better!)

Perhaps an industrious person could summarize all of these posts to create such a guide.

what about using the DAU card for the merlin messaging....same church, different pew. They never tell you how to configure the merlin system in the Messaging manual. You need to go into the Merlin Manual for that.
