We are trying to deploy a set of Windows 2000 Professional laptops for development purposes, with SQL 7.0 desktop installed. When running the sysprep to prepare the OS for imaging, it appears that the SQL SID is not touched. When the image machine is then created, the message we get is that SQL server will need to be re-installed. Is there any way round this at all?
