I'm working on a standard image that can be deployed on mostly the same type of hardware....

The part I'm confused about is the Networking and Net Adapter sections..

Let me explain what is confusing me:
In my ghost image, there are drivers for up to 7 different network cards, depending on which site the image will be deployed.

1) I want to know how to correctly fill out the INFID section, because when I look in the Hardware ID part of an installed NIC, I have between 4 and 10 lines of PCI\VEN_[xxxx]&DEV_[xxxx], mostly with the same root part and then different numbers on the lines . . .

2) If I specify a [params.Adapter[x]] section for each possible card, but a target PC will only have one or two of the listed cards, will this not cause sysprep to bug out?

Sometimes it just needs a good kicking.

I don't know for sure but if the cards ID are listed in the Hardware Ids and Compatible Ids, maybe you only need to supply one ID?

A good place to ask might be the Unattended Forum.
