I am fairly new to using unix, and so I have no idea what version it is. On one of our IBM R6000 we are having a problem that says sysplanar0:periodic Diagnostics detected errors that may require your attention. I would like to know what sysplannar0 is. Thanks in advance.

The sysplanar is basically the main board. PC's call it the Motherboard. If you need more assistance, post this in the AIX forum.

Something as simple as a power failure can cause this error to show up.
