Syslogging And Alerts With Pix 506e

Just curious as to I have looked everywhere in the PDM and other than the Logging area, I do not see exactly what I am looking for and would like to know if it is even possible.

I would like to receive email alerts if a user visits inappropriate web sites, I know with sonic wall I could do this. I would like to be able to log all traffic and then parse the log using say Cyfin Reporter and be able to track user traffic as to whether or not it is ok. I would like to be able to block certain websites, etc.

I don't believe some of these options are available on the Pix 506e.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Email alerts are only available on the 7x code which the 506e can't run. You'll have to upgrade to a PIX 515 or an ASA for that.

You can have a syslog server and have it react to certain messages with a script.
