I'm planning to install a Kiwi Syslog to log all the perimeter routers. What's the best way to do this?

1. Put a server with Kiwi syslog in this dirty DMZ?
2. Put a server in Kiwi syslog in inside network behind the PIX and open ports? If this is the case? is it posible to do static mapping from the router interface public IP say 1.1.1.1 to inside 192.168.1.100 (kiwi server)and allow what ever TCP port Kiwi is used?

thanks,
