SYSLOG ERRORS

I need some help. We are getting a lot of mail undeliverable. The errors in the log are "MX CONNECT FAIL", and "Stack connect fail". We are on version 8.12, we only have 1 NIC card with and external IP address. This IP hasn't changed. In the registry I do see see under domains our domain and an aliases. The domain is our domain with all the users under it and then the aliases is our mail servers IP address. I am wondering if this is causing some issues.

ANY help or direction will be greatly appreciated
