I'm running a Sun T5120 (Solaris 10) connected to a Storagetek 6140 disk array. I have a fan on the 5120 that is being reported as cycling on and off again. I was told by SUN support to upgrade the firmware of the system to the latest relase (7.1.7f) as they have "seen this before". In order to do that I have to install sysfwdownload to get the image onto the SP. From what I can muster (which isn't much) the patch 121118-13 installs this utility. I already have that patch loaded but I cannot find sysfwdownload?

Can someone direct me into how I can install or check to see if sysfwdownload is already resident?

Thanks

The sysfwdownload utility must be present and executable on Solaris 10 in order
to take advantage of the firmware update capabilities for Sun Enterprise
T5120/T5220 systems. This utility is normally pre-installed on these systems
and resides in /usr/platform/sun4v/sbin.

If for some reason, sysfwdownload does not exist, the Sun System Firmware
Download Utility 1.5 package must be retrieved and installed prior to
continuing. This package can be found by searching at
