HI.
I use hipath 4000 version 6,the duplex one.
I changed sysbkp password and then I faced some warning and error messages on the very first page on assistant. Some days later,I started for checking updates for linux so that I lost my connection with assistant(192.0.2.3).after a while, when i tried to connect to 192.0.2.3 I was redired to the installation page of assistant.I could saw a page defining the status of different requirements of installation.they were all ok except RMX.I downloaded the log files which are inserted below:

I guess it is related to the modification of sysbkp password.maybe I need to return it to the default one.would you please help me in this regard?
does anybody know the default password for sysbkp?

'skybkb' is your own company username/password, such a username/password does not exist by default on the HiPath.

There are at least 2 locations that you are mentioning
Firstly on Comwin you have to ADD-USER:SKYBKB etc. and give it a password
Secondly on the Assistant at 192.0.2.5 you normally log on using engr then setup a new user, in your case skybkb and give that user a password.

hi.
thanks for your response.
the axact name of the user is sysbkp not skybkp.as i understood it is used for backing up the system.do you know anything about it?

Hi,
My apologies - I was incorrect.
Today I spotted it on a V6
SYSBKP is a user on Comwin by default.
It is 'erasable' however.
Try logging in as ROOT
PASSWD:SYSBKP;
Then you should be able to change the password of SYSBKP
Regards

If I had to guess at what the password WAS, my first guess would be Siemens2000

Hi ,
I solved the problem myself.
the sysbkp pass was _W30e9-m.
