Sys Toolbox 6.5 - Install New Printer - Zebra TLP2844

Accpac "Dos" WSM 6.5A and Sysytem ToolBox 6.5A - I need to install a new printer in the System ToolBox 6.5A for barcoding. Previously, we developed a printer configuration for an older Zebra Bar Code Printer but got corrupted. Does anyone know how to program (add)a new printer for newer technology - Zebra TLP2844? Or will "redirect/capture" of a network printer work?

Your best bet is a

NET USE \\location\printer /PERSISTENT:YES

in the batch file that starts PLUS. Make sure the location and printer are 8 characters or less.

As for the new technology, you're stuck with the printer names that you see. Hopefully, there's an older printer driver that the new printer will still interpret.
