I'm pretty sure the answer is no as I've spent quite a while trying to get it to work... A major problem that has cropped up quite a few times for me lately is when replacing a Norstar, BCM or a Mitel 3000 for a 3300 the customer has been used to seeing the name in the screen of the speed call they have dialed. For example a Mitel 3000 uses '8' as the prefix for speed dials, so the customer dials 8001 for speed dial 001 which dials out and displays the name of the speed dial- for example 'Dave Home'. On a new 3300 I add a system speed call of 8001 which is fine but when this is dialed the o/g digits are displayed on the phone. Currently I add the full number in the Telephone directory form in the form of 9~xxxxxxxxxx so that alpha tagging works. Is there any work-around for displaying a name on the screen of a phone when a speed call is made??

The Mitel 3300 will introduced this as Outgoing Alpha Tagging. Not sure if this is going to be released in 5.0SPx or if we need to wait for 6.0
That is different then what you have/had on other systems, you might consider to raise this as a DCR with Mitel.
