Hi all, I know there are a lot of tools out there to do this, but they charge per transaction and my company is not wanting to pay, so I was looking to do this by writing something if possible. What I want to do is go to a site, log in using the appropriate username and password, and go to sites from there, imitating what the end user/customer is doing. I am new to .net, I have been doing a lot of vbscript, so if it would work in either that would be great. I am just looking to get started if nothing else so that would be great if someone could give me a boost. Any help is appreciated,
Thanks.

I want to go to a site to pay for something in the code, log in using a username and password, go to the next site, select items, go to the next site to pay, and so on, in the code. I will keep up with time to get from one site to another, if it fails, where it fails. Right now we have nothing like this, so if a transaction fails somewhere, it is a 5 hour process to figure out if it is the firewall, some app, or a specific site that is causing it to fail, make sense?

Umm, no, I'm confused. You want to run an ecommerce system across multiple web sites?

No, I want to write a monitor to verify all of this is working. Synthetic transaction monitoring.

I am guessing by the response the either I am not asking my question clearly or it cannot be done. Does anyone have any further questions about what I am wanting to do?
