Synthatic Time is being issued on partition " orgnization name"" 1

i have this message comming on the cosole every 2 minutes.
any help will be appreciated.
this thing happend after i reset the time on the server.
ist somthing to do DST (DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME?
HELP

Server time should only be reset on the server holding the Root Partition. Change the time on that particular server then on each member server you can unload timesync.nlm and then load it again to sync with the Root server.

do you know how to set the DST to ON instead of OFF

I believe you can do it by typing in..

set daylight savings time status = off

at the console screen.

The best way to restart TIMESYNC is as follows:

SET TIMESYNC RESTART FLAG = ON

This is better than unloading TIMESYNC.NLM - effectively it does the same thing but in a more controlled fashion. -----------------------------------------------------

the problem Got Fixed by running "Repair time stamps and declare a new epoch" in the DSREPAIR utility.
