Syntax Problem

Can someone tell me why the top (first) line of syntax works from a list, but the second line from a label does not work.

Works
MySql = MySql & " AND PROGRESS.Update = #" & Format([Forms]![TabbedForm]![DULIST], "yyyy-mm-dd") & "#"

Does not work
MySql = MySql & " AND PROGRESS.Update = #" & Format([Forms]![TabbedForm]![LBL5].[Caption], "yyyy-mm-dd") & "#

Ooops, Egg on my face. I had formatted the output twice, first when clicking on the list to put into label, then formatting it again in my query. Thank God it's Friday
