I wrote a database to track corporate funds, both actual and forecasted and in the report, I would like to not report the forecasted for dates in the past. I want to write and "if" statement that will look at and use teh data in [Jan_2001_cap_act]if [Jan_2001_cap_for]=0. I have tried, but the syntax is tearing me up.

Thanks
-Chris

Rather than doing this in the report, you should be doing it in the query that feeds your report. Set criteria in your date field that selects teh proper dates. Then the report will automatically be limited to the appropriate data.
