Syntax for date parameter

I have a query that needs 2 dates entered to determine student absents between those dates.

>[Date to print from:]-1 And <[Date to print to:]+1

I am getting an error that says its too complex. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
You need to do eihter one of these:

Column > [parameter] and Column < [paramemter]

or

Column BETWEEN [parameter] and [parameter]
