Syncronising with incorrect User

One of the users on my network has recently passed there old laptop onto another user. The new user has beens setup ok but when she tries to syncronise her work it points to the old users data folder as well as her own.
No group specific policies have been setup to point to any other folders.

have seen the above scenario before but mostly ignored it as they were test machines

however you could try the following

remove all folders from the synch part
disable the offline part
reboot
go back in as user and renable offline and configure the folders as before
