I have opt81c with symposium web and callpilot....
what causes time on phone to go off by 3-6 minutes over 1 month? Is there a way to sync LAN time with phone switch/callpilot/symposium?

Not familiar w/ remote cabinets.....How will time affect remote cabinets in other timezone? Thanks for the help....

Time on the phone comes from the switch. I am not sure you can synchronize siwth time with time on your LAN, but you should be able to make it closer than 3-6 minutes per month.

look under ld 2. There are clock adjusters that you can add, which will slow or speed up the system clock depending on what you need. I think I read somewhere that in Rls 5, the switches can synch to an NTP server.

Until Rls 5 comes out, if you have a switch admin application server, like Avotus or Telephony Manager, you can have that server synch up to the network clock, and then create a script that routinely logs in and updates the clock in LD 2.

how do i check what version the switch is on/ thanks
