Syncing iCloud Contacts and Calendar with Outlook 2011

Hi,

Having just aquired a macbook, running Sierra, I am looking for a bit of advice from you knowledgeable guys and girls.

I have set up my icloud account on the macbook, and it is syncing fine with Mac Contacts and Calendar. Is it possible to get this to sync with Outlook as well/instead of Mac Contacts and Mac Calendar?

First question would be, what version of Outlook are you running?

Notice there are some potentially dangerous combos of Outlook and iCloud/iTunes versions.

My apologies, I rewrote my inital message before posting, and forgot to put the version of Outlook. It is 2011 for Mac.

I shall have a read of the web page, and see what is needed.

These steps might solve your problem-
1. Make sure the iTunes plugin is enabled in Microsoft Outlook.

2. Connect your iOS device to your computer. Open iTunes ( if it doesn't show up automatically).

3. Open the Info tab in iTunes.

4. Select “Outlook” from the “sync contacts with:” and “sync calendars with:” drop down list.

5. Click the “sync” button, and there you have it.
