syncing calendars between iphone and mac over the internet

I am a newbie to Mac, but I have been acquiring quite a lot of Macs and Iphones lately. Calendars are maintained on Macs on Entourage or Outlook. Users have more than Mac and they want to syncrnize their Outlook/Entourage calendars, tasks, contacts with all their Macs and even to their Iphones over the wired/wireless internet. Is there a application for this. I do not want to use USB or any direct connection methods.
Please advice.

do you use entourage with exchange?

there are solutions using the exchange server as an intermediary.
