I have one table that stores records for a business. Each record has a picture, and in the subsequent form I put in a button that opens a seperate form to display the pictures because they are quite large. My problem is that I would like the the form to display the picture of the record that the first form is currently on. No matter if I am on the first or the last record, the picture form always opens up to the first record. How do I solve this dilemma? Thanks in advance for any help!

Try this:

DoCmd.OpenForm "ThisForm", acNormal, , "[ItemID] = " & Forms!ThisForm!ItemID

If the ItemID is text, it needs to be put in like this:

DoCmd.OpenForm "ThisForm", acNormal, , "[ItemID] = '" & Forms!ThisForm!ItemID & "'"

--OR--

If this is the only time you open the picture form (no other forms opening it), you can have the form, OnOpen, set itself to the field of "ThisForm".

If you need further assistance, let me know!

Nevermind I am really stupid. I just made my button over again and used the wizard to filter by ID # instead of displaying all of the pictures. Thanks for the advice though I really appreciate the expediancy of your reply.
