we use loginscripts on our clients to sync with the pdc:s clock. the command is "NET TIME \\name-of-server /set /yes" without the ".
To get the correct time on the PDC, we use a atomic watch program (a program that get it´s time from a very precise time-server). The program updates the server´s clock with the interval you decide.

jobbar du på wm-data i göteborg/mölndal förresten?

Nej, malmö. Vad kul, du då? [sig][/sig]

arvika. du har samma namn som en konsult på wm-data. sug på den du :)

have you found any sollution to the time-sync-problem? [sig]
Nostradamus

[/sig]

The net time solution works well for computers that get restarted. For servers, this may not work as desired. Try a program like websync at on both servers. It has WAN and dialup features. Net time works fine on servers if you put the command in a batch file and then use the AT command or task scheduler to run the thing periodically. you can sync your computers by using your PDC as NTP server...try a freeware named DIMENSION 4 and install it on your BDC ; you will be synch every millisecond...

on the windows nt 4.0 resource kit utilites cd (i have the september 1999) there is a program that you run on all the servers and it syncs the clocks. you have to explore the cd to find it.
