I wonder if there´s some built-in command to synchronize watches in SCO Openserver 5.0.5?

If not... Can someone tell me a good third-party software that will do the work?
Preferably synchronize with an NT-server (where we already have a program that checks with an atomic-watch) /Sören

We use NTP (Network Time Protocol) to do this. All you need to do is add a root cron job such as:

[tt]5 * * * * /etc/ntpdate -sB ntpserver.domain.what[/tt]

Not sure whether NT will answer an NTP request, but I'll let you figure that part out.

thanks... I´ll look into it.
must the ntpserver have some kind of software installed or can any server act as ntp-server?

perhaps I should read the manual pages before asking but...
/Sören

A UNIX box would typically need to run xntpd to handle these requests, so perhaps an NTP service would need to be running on the NT box.
