synchronize button?

hello Access masters!

Is it possible/wise to place a button on my main form to synchronize the database?

We have a large number of mobile users who manage to mess up this operation (?) and I would like to write a script or macro that would do the job without letting them mess it up.

Have You tried use replication manager?
It works fine and let users sinchronize easely.

what i was thinking ( should have explained better) was a way to remove the chance for the person to misdirect the synchronization, or designate a new design master, etc,
but I will check into the Rep Manager, - its on the Developer CD right?

thanks, got some reading to do.

I will have to work out something, but i will be planning it for the long term, so research is required i guess.
