I hold the design master on a network drive. Every month I create a new replica and send it to an external auditing company where they use it to enter in all of their data results. Upon finishing a months of data entry they send me their replica file back. I then synchronize it with the master file. During the month, our local people review the external auditors results and there is a space in the database for them to reply. They also fix misc. errors with the audits (i.e. the date of a posting transaction was entered incorrectly). This has been going on since last June (I got the synchronization idea from a fellow tek-tips member) and has been great!
However, I received a months of data as usual today. I went to synchronize it and I get the pop up saying the synchronization failed because, "The search key was not found in any record."
I checked the design master to make sure it was still the design master (it is), I then did a compact & repair on both the master and the replica, and then tried it again but I received the same message.
Does anyone know why this is occuring? And more importantly, how can I fix it?
