synch htc with exchange

Hi

I have a customer who wishes to user their htc s710 phone to have a synched oopy of their outlook calender. The customers exchange server is on sbs 2003. I have tried to without success to connect the phone to the exchange server. Can anyone point me in the right direction as how this should be done?

What have you tried? What were the errors? What do the event logs say?

Are you using a third party certificate (recommended)?

Hi Pat

Many thanks for your swift reply. The only error I have seen is something like this is not an exchange server.As far as I am aware, everthing is set to default on the exchange server. The customer is using a self signed certificate. If you know of any step by step guide to connect the phone to exchange, I would be grateful!

How are you trying to sync the phone

Is it over GPRS \3g to an external IP address (or pointer eg mail.domain.co.uk)

Or are you plugging into a laptop with a cable.

If you are syncing over GPRS \ 3g can you access the outlook web access page on the server
