Sync two notes servers

I am a little new to Lotus Notes, but is it possible to Syncronize two notes servers??? have a master in one place and another server somewhere else that is syncronized with the master..

Just set up another server in the domain and initate replication of the Db's you are concerned with.

sorry one more question..how often will updating take affect..or is that something I would need to set?

do you know of anywhere that would have some info on this?
