Hi have a problem.
All modem lines does not get connected to other modems. I have tried to switch all dsu an lsu in the lim system, but still I got this sync fault:
CLASS: 2
274 DIGITAL TRUNK, CLOCK MALFUNCTION (SLIP)
DATE TIME ALP NOIF UNIT EQU BRDID INF1
15MAY12 08:35:17 1 1 SLP60 010-1-10-00 57 263

DATE TIME ALP NOIF UNIT EQU BRDID INF1
15MAY12 08:35:50 4 1 SLP60 002-0-40-00 57 256

My sync seems fine:

EXTERNAL SYNC RECEIVING LINES DATA
MASTER LIM STATUS [LOCAL SCOPE]
FIRST CHOICE 10-1-10-0 SYNC RECEIVING
SECOND CHOICE NOT PRESENT
THIRD CHOICE NOT PRESENT
scicp;
MASTER LIM/GSM CONFIGURATION DATA
MASTER 2ND MASTER 3RD
LIM GSM LIM GSM LIM
10 0

Does any one have some suggestions ? When a move the external lines to a mxone, there is no sync fault.

Could also be the TLU or even backplane.

The synchronisation signal is 8khz derived from the frame synce of the TLU board, 10-1-10 in your case. This is then passed along a line (FRSY) on the backplane to clock the MASTER GSM via DSU/LSU/GJUL/GJUG.

It is odd that the synch source has a slip alarm but the SCEXP print shows synch receiving. The system will not normally use a sync source which has an active alarm so your printout is strange. Were both prints made at the same time?
