Howdy all,
I have got a doozy here. A user wants to hook up their Palm m130 to our W2K clients. In the past, we would assign this user rights as Admin, install the software via their account.. run it once or twice.. then remove rights and things worked just dandy.
Well hit a snag this time round. Using the latest Desktop 4.0.1 and sync, the palm will connect and sync first time through with no problems. The second time you sync.. it dies immediatly with the infamous 6410 connect error in the log.
When one deletes the profile on the PC, it will sync again.. but the 2nd time again fails. Went to Palm's web site and did the knowledge base tips. No Avail. Under the profile it creats sub folders (calendar/addr book) in which I would delete just that sub folder.. say Datebook... Sync...it would sysnc the date book, but die out after that on the addr book.
So if the files exist .. it dies there. User has Full rights to read/write to these directories. C:\pro files\palm
Any thoughts.. feel free to fire them at me. If you require more info, please ask.
