Sync-ing Call Pilot directory and Norstar's phone name display

Hi guys,

I have a Norstar MICS SP:30CPE06 NAT and a Call Pilot 150 ver 31.10.14.22

I made a name change in the Call Pilot's Directory using the web interface, but when I call that extension the phone's display still shows old name.
I can use a Norstar phone and login to programming mode **CONFIG and change the display name on the phone set with no issue.

Is there a way to force or sync the Call Pilot's changes to take effect on the Norstar's phones?

Okay thanks MooreTel...but what's the reason for the Call Pilot's directory then?
Not of any value is it then, except for reports maybe?

The CP name directory can be used when you are using Auto Attendant to answer your lines instead of a live person.

Directory is used for dialing by name in AA. It is also displayed when a mailbox is accessed using F981.

To add your greeting typically would say "for the company directory press #"
and not list every single persons name and ext # unless you are only 5 or so employees.

The caller then is given a choice to spell the persons name when they press #
Callpilot uses first or last name or both depending on your setting, older systems last name only.

Display In Directory?:
When the box is not checked Bionic Betty tells the caller no match is found when they try to spell persons name.

They only thing that is synced is the time.
