Sync Calendar items makes pda very SLOOOW!

Hi,

Using i-Mate Jamin WM5 device. (HTC - Wizard?? or something).

We run Active sync 4.(insert latest version) with chapura's pocket mirror.

We use pocket mirror to sync with public folder contacts.

My boss has about 4000 contacts synched. Technically speaking this all works however in reality it makes his pda very very slow.

Is it possible to move these contacts from the main memory and onto his storage card?
Is it possible to move any other programs out of main memory and onto a storage card?

Will moving the contacts out of main memory help??
