Sync Access Query with PDA

I am using access 97 and I am trying to sync a query with my pocket PC. I cannot do this using Microsoft Activesync. I tried syncing it through Visual CE, but when I try to update the query on my desktop. I get an error that says that "the field cannot be updated". Is there a Pocket PC database program that works better than Visual CE. Also, are there other ways to view/edit access tables on a Pocket PC. I have read a little about ADOCE and eVB, but I am not really sure what they are. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
