SYMPOSIUM4.2 /CALL PILOT 2.0 VOICE SEGMENT ISSUE

I have a Customer who has a Symp 4.2 that calls comes into a CDN(Master Script) and then go to a Voice Segement that has been recorded in Call Pilot 2.0. Using Access Ports.
Problem: When Caller Presses 2, there is a 5 to 7 sec delay before it goes to the next voice segment recording.
Any ideas? Anyone??? Caller may think they are going...nowhere and hang up.

Have you tried to use the INTER DIGIT TIMER command in your open voice session with collect digits commands. The inter digit timer has a default of 10 seconds (not exactly sure what the default is), but by reducing the timer to 2 or even 1 you should be able to significantly increase the delay time.

For example

open voice session
play prompt voice segment *_gv
collect digits into *_cv
inter digit timer 1
end voice session

Where *_cv equals
Value 1 : execute script
Value 2 : route call 333
Default : route call 333
end where
 
Thanks. I just reposted this issue today. Durn,if I hadn't forgotten I had done it back in Sept. Thanks for ur suggestion. The inter digit timer was set to 2 and did not make a difference. I is in Nortel's hands, but they must be stymied over this, haven't got a solution yet.
