Greetings,
I have a customer that is using a third party predictive dialer with IVR options.
They want to have Symposium route certain inbound calls to the IVR (for credit card payments) the IVR needs to receive DNIS digits. I know the Avaya Definity can do this. Will the Sympsoium? The digits need to pass after siezure (connecting via station side T1).

I know nothing about Symposoium
Thanks for your help.

Yes, in Symposium you can insert the command ROUTE CALL "xxx" where xxx stands for the DN / CDN / ACD which routes the call elsewhere (e.g. the T1).

Thanks,
And this will allow DNIS info received from the CO (on DID trunk) to pass to the IVR for further routing?

Hi Dave,

It should maintain the DNIS value. I haven't tried what you have explained in the previous scenario although I have tried manipulating DNIS values prior to sending them to the IVR and the IVR always has picked up the original DNIS value of the call. (I have created an IDC table and converted digits and the IVR has received the original DNIS value from the PRI rather than the converted value).
