Symposium web server & services

We have symposium web clients in our internal network and have had repeat problems with parts of real time reporting failing to load or even being unable to log in as a web client(using explorer.)

Restarting the IIS service and iceRTD service usually fixes this. Usually have error messages come up on the symposium web server related to IIS. We are behind on some patches and these will be resolved next week.

What role does the iceRTD service play on the webserver?
